By no real demand, I gift unto you... my Photoshop painting tool presets! (which I use for painting in Photoshop.)
You won't find anything terribly complicated in here; 13 tool presets in total. That's 6 brushes, 4 erasers, and 3 smudge tool presets. Designed for use in Photoshop CS5, but they should work just fine in older versions too.
When I first learned how to install and create custom brushes and tool presets, I'll admit that I probably went a bit overboard with things; brushes for nearly every type of texture. And there are still some instances where I'll pull out a Freckle brush or a Fur brush for some projects. But as I've continued to work, I've come to realize that when it all comes down to it, there's almost nothing you can't do with just a small selection of general-purpose brushes and tools. In fact, it makes things even easier when you don't need to go searching for some weird pattern brush!
So have a go at this set; all of the tool presets I use for my day-to-day painting and drawing projects. Take 'em apart, see how they work! Use 'em for your own projects, or take them as stepping-stones to create your own custom tools that fit your own style and needs. The instructions file should explain everything you need to get them installed and loaded-up, as well as some suggestions for different uses. Send me a note or drop a comment below if you need any help otherwise.
---- Tastes great when paired with my Brush Settings tutorial!
